Lucio Pozzi born in 1935 in Milan left for the United States in 1962 as a guest at the Harvard International Summer Seminar. His first exhibition at the Hal Bromm gallery took place in 1976. Although primarily a painter, Pozzi considers writing, drawing and sculpture to be valuable tools for his art. He also has an extensive teaching career, having taught at Cooper Union, the Yale Graduate Sculpture Program, Princeton University, and the School of Visual Arts NY. Pozzi currently splits his time between Hudson, New York and Valeggio, Italy.
