Large oil on canvas of a lady sewing, very colorful oil by the Spanish painter Juan Benito born in Castile. He studied art in Madrid and discovered the fascinating world of bullrings and bullfighters. During the 1970s, the painter worked in France in Saint-Tropez then in Montmartre. It was in this large Parisian district that his paintings were spotted by one of the greatest art dealers of the time, Katia Granoff. The latter exhibits Benito's works in his gallery alongside Marc Chagall. His journey then took him to the four corners of the world, then he returned to France and settled in the Camargue, where he still lives today. The painting is signed lower left and dated 82. Dimensions without frame 81 x 65 cm Dimension with frame 88 x 72 cm the frame is in good condition in gilded wood
