"Solange Christauflour, Oil On Cardboard, Pastoral Scene"
Student of Fernand Maillaud, whose niece she is and whom he adopted, member of the Union of Women Painters and Sculptors and member of the Winter Salon, she exhibited in 1929 at the Salon of French Artists the paintings Le Poisson rouge, Le Chemin de Fontauchère (Creuse) and Autumn Landscape in Creuse and obtained an honorable mention in 1931. Solange Christauflour belongs to the Crozant School movement. Our work, a pastoral scene very close to the style of Fernand Maillaud, is signed lower left: S Christauflour.
