Very beautiful composition representing a model in a painter's studio. She seems to be observing the painting that represents her. a large bay window opens onto a wooded landscape which gives great depth to the work. the interior of the workshop is represented with numerous details and objects (screen, easel, chair, draperies etc...). Very beautiful light. The canvas is in good condition, previously re-covered. (a few numerous small chips discreetly retouched). Dimensions outside frame, 61 cm x 46, i.e. a 12 Landscape. Presented in a Montparnasse frame, total dimensions, 76 cm x 61 cm.
