"Stopover Of The King In An Inn "
Exceptional painting from the beginning of the 19th century representing an inn scene. Probably a stopover made during his journey with his entire assembly. Pictorial details superbly produced by the painter who remains to be defined. Certainly a great hand given the quality rendered on this oil on oak panel purchased from Maison Vallin in Paris. Stamped on the back in ink. Label also stuck to the back revealing the name of the Goncourt brothers and the address in Paris. Coming from a large Bordeaux family. Format of 50x45 cm with its beautiful golden frame with flutes and 27x21 cm without. Visually a painting of great beauty. Not cleaned in its own juice! Gorgeous costume colors! Very nice animated inn scene!
