On the base of a revolver by Eugène LEFAUCHEUX model 1858, single-edged dagger topped by a 15-centimeter hexagonal barrel; the whole fully engraved with scrolling foliage, and marked on the left side DUMONTHIER B.S.C.D.G. and its number 200.
Six-chamber barrel, engraved with bouquets of flowers and scrolls. Single action. Open-body bati, engraved en suite.
Ivory stock plates, chased screws and rosettes. Continuously engraved cap, with ring on piton.
Good condition. Minor surface corrosion.
An exceptional, rare weapon of surprising size.
