French Regence period furniture of this delicacy is quite rare in the Art Market, the period being short and at the same time very rich for the Decorative Arts.

An elegant and decorative black lacquered flat desk with gilt bronze decoration. In the front, it opens with two drawers.
Beautiful, sober decoration in finely chiseled and gilded bronze, including animal hooves and mascarons of a man's head.

The top is encircled by an ormolu moulding and a magnificent patinated red leather with black leather inlay, all decorated with a gilded roulette, executed by our craftsman leather, Artisan Gainier.
