DESCRIPTION: very beautiful and original two-door ceremonial piece of furniture in boulle marquetry with brass threads on an ebony veneer background. Very original, to be compared to the productions of Paul Sormani from the 1860s. Very beautiful presentation of gilded bronzes with bronzes on the doors embedding two Wedgwood porcelain plaques representing vestal virgins. Pair of large scraps taking the side and the upper part, perimeter ingot molds on all levels taking up the curve of the piece of furniture, which gives it a very refined side. Hoof on the front feet.
