"Second Half Of The 18th Century Neoclassical Small Coin Case "
Beautiful small neoclassical noble coin case in inlaid and painted wood. The case features singular and unique decorations: vegetal festoons with flowers decorate the four external sides of the case, framing small scenes with figures depicted within coats of arms. Also on the lid, a woman and a man in eighteenth-century clothes are inserted in a coat of arms vignette surrounded by vegetal spirals. Inside, the case features a decoration on a red background with guilloches and coats of arms decorated with plant racemes, and two vignettes: one with two male characters inside the lid and a landscape on the bottom. The cassina is also divided into three parts for storing objects. This small case is a unique, elegant and refined object, rich in history and particularity. Tuscan manufacture from the neoclassical period of the second half of the 18th century.
