Marius Sabino, born in 1878 in Sicily and died in 1961, is a French master glassmaker renowned for his works in opalescent glass. He studied at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris and the National School of Fine Arts. In 1925, during the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, he gained international fame thanks to his Art Deco creations. Sabino founded his own company in 1927, specializing in lighting fixtures, vases and sculptures. His work is characterized by elegant shapes and innovative finishes. Today, his works are prized by collectors and exhibited in various museums around the world.
