"Louis XIV Period Mirror"
Mirror with openwork pediment from the Louis XIV period, in richly carved and gilded wood. Bérain-style frame surmounted by an openwork pediment decorated with a plumed canopy surrounded by a lambrequin sheltering a couple of crowned doves resting on an entablature covered with a notched drape of lambrequins. Consoles with scrollwork decorated with acanthus leaves and rosette flowers. Cleaned gilding in excellent state of conservation.
