Guard with a finely chiseled and gilded brass branch, half earpieces decorated with a palmette, pommel with a lion's head, framed wooden spindle. beautiful damascus blade etched with a lictor's beam, stars, moons and suns, the end ending in a carp's tongue. gilded brass scabbard with a leather puncture, bail bracelets engraved with laurels, decorated with two cartridges in strong relief of weapon trophies, ending with a Vendémiaire type dart. First empire very good condition
