Charles X - Pedestal Table flag

Object description :

"Charles X - Pedestal Table"
Very beautiful library pedestal table, in rosewood inlaid with holly, top and all sides.

The top, supported by a central shaft, is adorned with radiating patterns depicting Gothic arches joined by clover leaves. Various concentric circles distribute, from the central rosette to the outer edges, variations on a unique theme inspired by large Gothic stained glass windows.

The apron, inlaid with pomegranates, scrolls, leaves, and flowers, offers three drawers with locks. The central baluster leg with six faces features the same type of decoration, as does the tripod base on casters.

In perfect condition.
