Oil on canvas riverside landscape (Seine?) Albert Marie Adolphe Dagnaux was born in Paris on July 10, 1861. From 1878, Albert Dagnaux studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1890, he joined the Société nationale des Beaux Arts, then founded among others by Meissonnier. T
hat same year, he began to be recognized and appreciated by the critics of the time. His first great success was the painting Avenue du Bois de Boulogne - club des Pannés at the Salon of 1893. He participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1900. He died on November 22, 1933. Very good painter as shown by the work on the proposed table. The touch brings us back to the work of Eugene Boudin.
