"Religious Character In Carved Wood"
Polychrome carved wooden statue representing a religious character from the 19th century. He is a bearded man dressed in a long beige-colored dress and a green-colored coat; In his right hand he holds an open book and in his left hand (missing shoot, the stick is stuck in the hand) a long metal stick with a butt. The sculpture is made from a single piece of basswood, the base with cut corners on the facade has been added. A small hole at the back of the head, probably to attach a now missing halo. Note: perhaps Saint Barnabas whose main attributes are the book and the pilgrim's staff. Delivery: €10 for mainland France.
