Aubusson Tapestry "allegory Of The Home" Louis XIV XVIIth Period
Aubusson tapestry "Allegory of the hearth" Louis XIV XVII century period. In the foreground we observe a woman in red and blue clothing taking a fruit from a fruit basket placed on a table with a blue tablecloth highlighted with a red braid. In the center a fire with bright flames around which is a dog and a young boy rekindling the fire using a bellows. In the background we can see a house on each side and an oven in which we can see dishes being cooked. Original border with floral decorations decorated with birds. (old restorations and some wear) Tapestry formerly lined Aubusson Louis XIV XVII century period.
