"Lyonnais Hunting Buffet"
Pretty Lyonnais hunting sideboard in natural solid walnut wood. It is topped with a Saint Cyr shell stone top with double ogee, approximately 5 cm thick, formerly and perfectly glued (almost invisible). It opens with two leaves on the facade. The sides, molded, are double paneled separated from a central upright, typically Lyonnais work. The leaves, generously molded, are finely carved with plant motifs. The rounded uprights are carved with a shell and falling acanthus leaves. The lower crosspiece is also finely carved with a shell. the leaves open onto a shelf and two knife drawers designed to accommodate a cutlery set. The whole thing rests on rolling feet on the front and two straight feet on the back. Wrought iron locks and keyholes. Beautiful typically Lyonnais work from the 18th century.
