Beautiful Inkwell, Trompe l'Oeil Japanese Incense Burner, Maison Marnyhac, 19th Century Bronze

Very beautiful bronze inkwell. It takes the shape of a Japanese censer, with an openwork lid and Shishi in a thumb grip. It rests on a tripod base and is decorated on the body with stylized medallions with bushes and plants, and chimeras in high relief on the sides. Beautiful, clearly visible mark on the border: "Maison Marnyhac, 1 Rue de la Paix". Unfortunately the condition is not excellent, I take this into account in my price. Please look carefully at my detailed photos, I am not hiding anything: welding and breakage at the hinge, which prevents proper closing, some breaks and missing parts on the perforated lid.
French working, dating from the second part of the 19th century.
