Large Coat Hooks From Prudhomme De Clermont Ferrand 19th Century.

Description:
Chiseled bronze.
These three hooks were used in the industrial tribunal.
They have the arms of the city of Clermont Ferrand. It is a rich bronze work, the arm is decorated with foliage motifs.
The crowned coat of arms of the city is in the upper part. The part where the clothing is hung is marked RF, under the plumb line symbol of straightness. In the center we will notice a rose window with two different motifs, one notes the place of use of these hooks, the second bears the Masonic symbols of justice and the term “Equity”.

I acquired the lot from an old bronze maker. There are various bronze elements or accessories from all periods, this type of supply is difficult to find especially for large models, therefore very decorative. I will present several models, and you can call me for a specific request that I can resolve if I also have this bronze element.
