Very beautiful pair of portraits of a girl and a boy after François Hubert Drouais. Oil on panel. carved and gilded wooden frames, Louis XVI style. 19th century period. The boy's portrait was based on a painting titled Le petit Timbalier painted by the famous portrait painter François-Hubert Drouais, 1727 – 1775. Frame dimensions: 48 cm x 38 cm. Good condition for the two portraits, the two frames need a small restoration, several chips in the gold paint.
