"Terracotta Votive Head - Isis - Egypt - Roman Period"
Terracotta votive head representing the goddess Isis. Above her elaborate headdress composed of a large bead, placed above two rows of curly hair, she wears the solar disk. Roman work from Egypt. Probably Antinoe. 6cm high 2.5cm wide 9.2cm with base Provenance: same Tarn collection (south of France) as the other archeology pieces that we are presenting for sale in recent days.
