Snake Bite Anti-venom Kit By Michel Legros Limoges flag

Object description :

"Snake Bite Anti-venom Kit By Michel Legros Limoges"
Very well known beyond our borders, this anti-venom is a plant-based formula developed by Michel Legros, research pharmacist and botanist in Limoges. Once bitten by a snake or scorpion, the venom deoxygenates the blood and causes paralysis of vital organs, but just one millimeter of this serum is enough to neutralize the amount of a bite by reoxygenating the blood. This kit was sold until the sixties, here you have an intact model from the beginning dating from around 1910 in cardboard imitating snakeskin with the vials and the syringe in glass and chromed metal. The later kits were then made of aluminum.
