Louis XV Lady's Secretary From The 18th Century flag

Object description :

"Louis XV Lady's Secretary From The 18th Century"
Opening with a flap topped with a drawer and three drawers in the lower part, this elegant lady's secretary has a walnut frame and on the front a decoration in wood marquetry of different species.
This model has a rosewood curling, arranged in a fern shape, which plays on color oppositions in geometric amaranth wood reserves highlighted with green-tinted ''Greek style'' nets.
As for the decor, note the flap decorated with an oval inlaid with natural and tinted sycamore flowers, and the upper drawer punctuated by a pretty chevron frieze alternating rosewood and violetwood.
Inside, three lockers surmount five small drawers with solid walnut fronts.
The front uprights, with cut sides, are decorated with rosewood curling in reserves formed by a double fillet of amaranth and light wood. They rest on arched legs and are topped with gilded bronze falls.
''Rouge Royal'' marble top molded with a corbin beak.
This secretary, which is rare due to its small dimensions, illustrates the refined production of inlaid furniture ordered in the 18th century.
