"Alsatian Master Piece Of Furniture From The 18th Century"
Very beautiful 18th century master's chest of drawers in burl walnut veneer, manufactured in Strasbourg.Opening with three drawers, it is curved on the front.
The two-leaf veneered top is framed by a crosswise veneer surrounded by a bec de corbin molding.
The sides are veneered in the same way as are the drawers with two separations in the middle for the lock entries.
The bottom is highlighted by a quarter-round molding.
The frame rests on four turned legs (two redone at the back)
Polished brass trim. Original locks.
Early 18th century period.
