"18th Century Carafe, Gilded Cut Crystal And Two Glasses, Louis XVI."
The 18th century crystal decanter is superbly hand-cut, a luxurious workmanship which highlights the fine gold decoration of floral garlands on both sides, decorations also around the edge and on the grip; golden sculpted paving stones harmoniously enrich the reliefs of this very beautiful object through their arrangement. The top of the socket and the stopper are fully gilded; -The two standing glasses, in crystal with sides with golden decorations, one with a character and the other with an elegant doe, both in a small landscape.
A golden net surrounds the top of each.
The gilding applied to the 3 objects is in manually executed enamel. 3 beautiful objects in very good condition. Dimensions:
Carafe: 27 cm high and 9.5 cm in diameter at the base.
Glasses: 13.5 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter at the base.
