Signed "Optique médicale, GIROUX, 58 Quai des Orfèvres, Paris", Early 20th century, ivory handle, black metal, glass and mirror, in a black chagrin-covered case with burgundy velvet and satin lining.
Dr Landolt's ophthalmoscope with two mirrors, a pinhole and a magnifying glass.
Instrument in good condition in its original case, the magnifying glass is cracked.
