Bronze clock with brown patina and morello cherry marble base.
The enameled dial indicates the hours in Arabic numerals using two hands.
It has some very barely visible cracks and is slightly yellowed.
It is surrounded by a frieze of gilded bronze eggs. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes presenting small incidents.
The flight of two winged putti, draped and bursting with clouds, overlooks the clock in good working order.
One of the putti brandishes the torch of love in his right hand.
This scene is titled "The Morning" on a plaque.
Bronze signed “Carrier Belleuse”
The roundness of the bodies and the softness in the expression of the faces flatter the eye.
