Claas Prins (Amsterdam 1903 – 1968 Bussum) was a student of Johan Fekkes and David Schulman. Prins mainly painted landscapes and cityscapes. He painted more or less in the style of the Hague School, but in a lighter and more colorful way, as this work shows. He was a member and director of the Laren-Blaricum Visual Arts Association.
