This table , which bears the name of the illustrious Geneva doctor, was in fact invented by the cabinetmaker and mechanic Louis Dufour in 1777.
It made it possible to read and write sitting or standing.
Using a system of racks penetrating the feet, you raise to the comfortable level and tilt the removable tray. The belt drawer with movable inkwell here forms a writing desk.

This table is in in unrestored and untouched condition ; some small restorations need to be done.
