John Nepomucký (Jan Nepomucký): oh it's not only this porcelain statuette that I'm passing on, it's also everything I learned about him. Legend has it that John Nepomuk died as a martyr in 1393 after refusing to reveal the secret of the queen's confession to King Wenceslas IV. John Nepomuk is revered as the protector against evil waters and their dangers, as well as against slander. He is the symbol of truth and fidelity, the protector of personal honesty... And don't tell me you knew all this... And this porcelain statuette painted in slightly kitsch pink is amusing.
