"Oil On Canvas, The Ball By Henri Le Riche"
Henri Le Riche 1868-1944 is a French painter, engraver and illustrator.

He began his studies at the Beaux-Arts in Grenoble under the aegis of Eugène Bernard, then in Paris under the supervision of William Bougeureau and Tony Robert Fleury.
He thus had solid classical foundations and combined with his talent he obtained the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1888. He exhibited in the Salons and galleries of his time, such as the Galerie Georges Petit. He obtained a silver medal and became a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1922. In 1935, he was elected to the Academy of Fine Arts in the engraving section. In addition to being a recognized engraver and sculptor, Le Riche is a traveling painter.
He went between 1909 and 1915 to China, Japan and the Maghreb. Outside of these countries, Venice and the 18th century paintings of Watteau and very colorful scenes of daily life.
