"A Late 19th Century Victorian Chatelaine Circa 1889-1894"
A chatelaine is a decorative belt hook or clasp worn at the waist with a series of chains suspended from it.

Each chain is mounted with useful household appendages such as scissors etui, acorn shaped thimble holder, a round pincushion, an aide Memoire or carnet de Bal and a silver mesh coin purse
The chatelaine has an embossed clip with floral and ribbons decorations
The perfume mesh coin purse has the French standard silver mark of the boar’s head stamped three time alongside the maker’s lozenge mark
It's the only tool with hallmarks, the rest of the chatelaine might be electroplated nickel silver
The chatelaine is in very good condition
