An oil measuring 18 cm by 12 cm, undoubtedly in vellum, sits in the center of this vast composition. This is a polychrome Nativity scene.
Secondly, our reliquary is intended to accommodate four substantial bagged ex-ossibus relics. Thus shine Saint Felicis, Saint Innocent, Saint Crescent and Saint Exupére, all Martyrs of the first centuries.
The presence of four Agnus Dei in wax reinforces the authenticity which we will talk about shortly afterwards. One of our medallions is dated 1725 under the episcopate of Benedict XIII.
Thirdly, our precious reliquary has three clearly visible seals of the General Vicariate of an episcopate and especially its authentic one, although later because it is dated 1832.
Finally, the frame itself is worthy of interest. In carved and gilded wood, it is topped with a representation of God in the Cloud, holding the terrestrial orb and surrounded by two cherubs. A rare and complete piece. A work from southern Germany.
