"French School From The 18th Century, After Nicolas Chaperon, Playing Putti, Sanguine, Old Frame"
Very beautiful French School from the 18th century, very fresh and well framed. It is a resumption of a composition by Nicolas CHAPERON (1612-1656), whose painting was engraved and reproduced in the Recueil des divers Bacchanales by Michel DORIGNY. This drawing represents Putti playing with a goat. The upper corners are cut. The frame is old from the 18th century and highlights this superb red chalk. Frame dimensions: 54 x 42 cm.
