Michel Moreno, French painter born in 1945. He studied painting at the Art and Technique workshop in Paris. Influenced by futurism and cubism, Michel Moreno is renowned for his geometric compositions. The palette is very focused on pastel tones arranged harmoniously to create works of great softness. However, it is the precision of the details in graphic forms which accentuates the fragmentation of the forms and gives the whole a soothing balance. Avant-garde artist, Michel Moreno experienced recognition of his talent during his lifetime. He has participated in numerous exhibitions around the world and was exhibited for several years at the Élysée Miromesnil gallery in Paris. This superb Cubist work, a gouache on paper depicting a man with a guitar, is a reflection of his Art.
