Head of a woman, original plaster circa 1940, signed Genevieve Granger (1877-1967) Trained in Paris in the Massoulle and Henri Dubois workshop. Secretary of the Society of French Artists and founding member of the Salon d'Automne, she exhibited very early in major Parisian galleries, but also abroad. She also played an important role in recognizing the place of the “woman artist” by participating in the creation of the first feminist societies.
