Fine oval-shaped sculpture in light walnut representing two pheasants with semi-extended wings which stand in the shade of the foliage against a hollowed-out oak trunk which receives the flared and widely open vases. Counter-bases in carved walnut Good condition, small accidents and losses to the beaks and to a piece of leaf at the bottom and at the end of a tail, rare old traces of pitting. Height 41 cm - width 19 cm - depth 14 cm Diameter of the crystal 14 cm The carved wooden objects known as "black forest" come from the Brienz region, in Switzerland.
