Drawings with three pencils On one side a woman sitting, lost in thought, her head resting on the back of her two hands On the other side, the same woman (?) is represented naked, in profile, slightly inclined towards the before, both hands seeming to hold something fragile. Provenance: family of the painter Michel Degenne, friend of Jean Puy met in 1940. Correct condition, small losses and tears, trace of pentiment Height: 31 cm - width: 24 cm Jean Puy, born November 8, 1876 – died March 6, 1960 in Roanne Artist influenced by impressionism, pointillism then fauvism. Present in several museums including the Déchelette museum in Roanne where a room bears his name.
