"Attributed To Charles Eisen (1720-1778), Putti Triomphants, Ink, Wash, Beautiful Old Golden Frame"
Very beautiful small format ink and wash drawing attributed to Charles EISEN (1720-1778), representing a triumph of Putti. Drawing teacher of Madame de Pompadour, EISEN appeared at the Saint-Luc exhibitions from 1751 to 1774. He excelled in the representation of these putti, of which he gives us a fine example here. Two slight foxing on the paper, not shocking. Comes with a beautiful old golden baguette measuring 18.5 x 18.5 cm.
