Pair of English chairs, late 18th century, George III. In solid mahogany, openwork interlaced back, removable seat frame, period silk preserved under a recent yellow fabric. Dated, signed and numbered on the internal frame under the back . 1789, Aaron or Adam Pickering? and other incised inscription, on each chair, I and IIAncient Restorations, two raer legs re-haunted over 10 cm on one of the chairs. Solid and comfortable Seat height 46 cm
