Octagonal barrel, rifled; stamped ‘ELG’ in a circle, representing the ordinary proof of a black powder weapon in Liège, Belgium.
Breechblock with V-shaped rear sight, chased with foliate motifs.
Front lock with flat body and crested hammer engraved en suite.
Counterplate engraved with flowers and ears of corn.
All iron fittings engraved.
Walnut frame, short barrel, squared grip, carved beaded cap with hinged shell forged piece opening to a reservoir.
Silver thrust piece.
Silver rosettes.
Nailhead ramrod and pans on one side and threaded lug on the other.
Very good condition.
