Authentic and original Jingasa from the Edo period, conical samurai headdress called Toppai Jingasa in wood covered with black lacquer, with two golden kamons representing the “Hosokawa-shi” clan and the “Ashikaga-shi” clan. In very good condition for its age, some lacquer chips at the top and ends of the helmet. Interior with chin guard, called ago-himo.
