Born on November 13, 1815 in Bey-sur-Seille, died in June 1908 in Bey-sur-Seille. Painter of genre scenes, portraits, animated landscapes, seascapes. Elder brother of François Feyen-Perrin, he entered the Paris School of Fine Arts in 1837, in the workshops of Léon Coigniet and that of Paul Delaroche. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1841 to 1882 and won a medal there in 1866 and 1880. He was promoted to Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1881. He initially produced portraits, then genre subjects, having specialized like his brother in Breton scenes and in particular the fishermen of Cancale.
