Court sword with silver mount and donkey step, LOUIS XVI period, Paris title hallmarks, 1775 - 1781, 18th century. Olive pommel with floral decorations, diamond tip and riveting button. Rocket entirely chiselled with decorations of diamond points and twisted floral garland throughout. Joining arch to a branch, chiseled with floral decoration with central medallion with diamond points and flowers. Quillon ending in a diamond rosette. No donkey bearing hallmarks and guard tray with inverted pontats (S-shaped) decorated with diamond points and floral garland on both sides. Beautiful triangular blade with a central edge engraved in one third with foliage and a soldier brandishing his sword.
