Stamped copper panel signed André Bizette Lindet (1906 - 1998) Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1930, André Bizette Lindet created the ornaments for the bronze doors of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris in 1937. In the post-war period, the artist participated in the Living Wall movement with the intention of creating a dialogue between sculpture and contemporary architecture. Also called Painter of the Navy, an exhibition was dedicated to him at the Maritime Museum in 1984. On sale is the work entitled Les Drakkars, the label on the back of which is missing. This was carried out in 1978 with the collaboration of the Ateliers d'art français. Beautiful composition which tends towards abstraction and also recalls the lines drawn by Le Corbusier.
