"Charles"
Small table or vanity mirror in mercury-gilded bronze, nicely decorated with a dolphin carrying a round mirror in its raised tail. The whole rests on a square bronze base, topped with a rim of leaves on which is placed a square mother-of-pearl base (with some small damage from use and the passage of time, but of no importance). The mirror retains its original period gilding, as well as the original moon. Overall it is in wonderful condition for this small and delicate collectible.
