"Chairs No. 67 By Jacob And Joseph Kohn "
Very beautiful pair of chairs model no. 67 from the house of Jacob and Joseph KOHN created in Vienna (Austria) in the mid-19th century. This Art Nouveau model was created around 1900. These "bistro" chairs are beautifully made. In solid turned beech for the frame and thermoformed pressed wood for the seat and back, they are very stable and solid. The whole thing is stained and waxed. Each is stamped on the belt and bears the house label under the seat. One of the two also has a label informing you of the presence of a boutique at 24 boulevard des Italiens in Paris! Both are in good condition despite their "great age". We just note for one of the two a restoration according to the rules of the art on a rear leg which in no way affects the solidity and a small chip without seriousness on the back of the circular bar of the other. It is certainly a beautiful set whose originality comes from the Art Nouveau pattern pressed on the seats and backs. Rare objects that could be called collectible.
