More information : The Maison Gay Frères was established in 1835 by Jean-Pierre Gay and Gaspard Tissot, from a chain-making workshop in Geneva. From the outset, their quality work and creativity set them apart, ensuring immediate recognition. Renowned for their bracelets, they became preferred suppliers to the most prestigious watchmakers such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Zenith, at a time when the wristwatch was gaining in popularity. They also collaborated with Van Cleef & Arpels to manufacture jewelry.
