Moustiers Armorié, 18th Century, Compotier With 8 Petals

A bowl,slightly hollow, elegant multi-lobed compote bowl, with a beautiful slightly bluish glaze, decorated in blue with a large coat of arms, an Alliance between two families on centre, surrounded by a sketched blue border. Coat of arms is pretty, four clearly legible emblems of provincial notability.
Beautiful reverse too, marked of a green cross, as often in Moustiers.
24.5cm x 2cm. Weight: 300g.
Good condition, without flaws, with the exception of a plaster blockage on edge, visible on our photos.
