Straight from Ancient Rome, its magnificent dark patina bronze candelabra are remarkable for this model so famous thanks to the Museums following the discovery of Pompeii and giving rise to the "Neo-Classical" trend. These two beautiful large pieces (70cm high) rest on a tripod foot with lioness heads resting on claws. A beautiful slender barrel decorated with water leaves growing on the stem and ending in apotheosis in five branches with hanging chains, very elegant and beautifully carved. Finished with elegant bobêches. At its top a heron fighting the snake and another wiser and smaller heron (formerly modified) they both rest on the back of a turtle and offer us through their finishes and their slender finesse a beautiful vision of two elements of lighting of the distinguished festive table.
